****A call to action from the desk of Cyndi Curnutte, MCID (Mo Coalition for Interior Design) President:
IIDA Gateway members and friends,
Please consider applying for Missouri professional interior design registration if you have passed the NCIDQ examination.
We cannot have our numbers reducing in the state and still continue to be a good advocate for our profession.
Please have been reduced to $100 every two years!
If you need any assistance with the form or have questions about our Missouri title law, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dear Interior Design Community -
I am sending this letter as a follow up to my recent email newsletter. Missouri Interior Designers recently went through another two-year renewal period for Registration with the State. Our Registered Interior Designer numbers keep reducing every time there is a renewal period. We currently have 69 Registered Interior Designers. This is down from 81 over the past two years.
We need your help in getting these numbers back up. Please know that if we don’t get the numbers up, we will become quick to go on the chopping block. For those of you waiting on the fence for a Licensing Bill for Interior Designers, know that we will never get there if we can’t get enough to register.
If you hold an NCIDQ certificate, you have the qualifications to apply. We have eased some of the previous requirements to encourage more designers to register. Please think about your Right to Practice and the Education, Experience and Examination that sets you apart.
For those of you that have REGISTERED, thank you for your continued support and please encourage others to become registered to preserve our profession.
Thanks for your help and support.
