We are looking for an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to join our team in the St Louis market. General Characteristics: The Manufacturer Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, executing sales plans, implementing, and managing individual sales objectives, forecasting, and building the communications/support for a results-oriented and customer-focused sales organization throughout St Louis and surrounding areas. This person must be self-motivated, personable, have superior communication and presentation skills and be an active team member. Duties: • Penetrate markets that take precision, accuracy and both influential and consultative selling • Develop strategic plan to achieve sales targets and grow customer base • Become product and industry expert and trusted partner for our customers • Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales territory • Open new opportunities through networking; build, maintain, and prioritize customer relationships • Occasional travel to cultivate relationships and to call on regular and prospective customers • Improve product knowledge and sales techniques • Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products • Perform product demonstrations, and application support Competencies: • Superior communication style, strategic thinking, and organization skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exemplary professionalism are required • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships • Ability to work independently and be highly motivated • Ability to work with multiple manufacturers • Experience in design/ sales • Existing design community relationships • Outgoing and confident personality with intelligence and an entrepreneurial spirit • Excellent customer service skills • Strong work ethic / trustworthy Qualifications: • BA/BS degree in relevant field preferred, AA/AS degree considered • Authorization to work in the U.S. required • 1 to 3 years of business to business sales required, 3 to 5 years (Preferred) • Estimated travel is less than 25% Compensation/ Start Date: • Our generous commission policy offers above average earning potential with a flexible schedule. • The position can start as soon as possible.

Job Description Responsible for the design and specification of interior spaces for commercial, educational, government, healthcare, and private business clients. You'll work with people, solve problems for customers, and help grow a local business. The Job In this role we will rely on you to: Draw furniture layouts using CET and other tools. Generate furniture specifications. Produce technical installation drawings for use in the field. Make design recommendations for product solutions, value engineering, custom designs, appropriate product applications to enhance the opportunity to earn new business. Work with clients to help select products, finishes, and colors. Visit job sites at critical phases of installation. Participate in client meetings and in-house meetings to ensure tight coordination throughout all phases of projects. Skills Desired To be a great fit for this role we’re looking for: • Four year degree • NCIDQ Certification preferred • Contract Furniture experience preferred • CET Designer experience preferred • Comfortable communicating with clients at all levels of the organization • Knowledge of contract furniture lines features/benefits, pricing, application and assembly. • Knowledge of contract furniture processes, including order preparation, project management, order management, and delivery/installation preferred • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Outlook) • Experience using CRM (Hubspot) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
