We are looking for a creative and artistically-minded individual seeking a full-time Senior Designer position with 8+- years providing exceptional interior designing solutions to clients in order to meet project goals. A candidate that is able to balance a full workload and establish priorities and deadlines, while offering excellence in design strategies along with a keen sense of elemental colors and schemes. Responsibilities, but not limited to the following Ability to execute all aspects of project including planning, design, construction documents and specifications from A-Z Possess knowledge of all applicable building codes that are relevant to project completion Produce drawings in appropriate computer programs to accurately portray desgn intent Possess current finish knowledge in order to specify appropriate materials Select and specify interior finishes for interior design projects - includes all phases of design process Possess current product knowledge in order to specify appropriate furniture and related items Select and specify furniture, soft goods and signage for procurement - includes all phases of procurement process Work with all project consultants and team members to achieve desired project results Work with manufacturers during bidding and negotiation Oversee installation process Follow up on punch items Capable of mentoring other junior level designers regarding project processes and product knowledge. Relies on Project Manager or Director for guidance on big picture items, schedule and timelines Portrays skills to work will with clients, architects, vendors and consultants Is able to market all SBC's capabilities to all current and potential clients Ability to travel, including airline flights, and occassionally to stay overnight Other duties as assigned Required Skills Accredited Degree in Interior Design 8+- year's Interior Design experience NCIDQ Revit & Auto CAD Proficiency in CAP - 20-20 Worksheet a plus InDesign a plus

Spellman Brady & Company is seeking an Artwork Master Planner - Project Manager to join our team to provide artwork master planning services for our corporate, healthcare, senior living and higher education markets. In this position you will be responsible for the art program design and management of all phases of art projects from inception through closeout. The Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player possessing strong communication, creativity, and managerial skills along with thriving in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities, but not limited to the following Design, select and guide art selections Manage budget, scope and schedule for multiple projects Develop and manage client relationships to consistently provide excellent customer service Utilize interpersonal skills to mentor and manage art team Coordinate with project designers to identify focal point areas to develop art solutions that align with the project overall design intent Coordinate and work with designers, installation team, artists, fabricators and others to ensure smooth and timely project delivery Ensure project documentation (reports, presentations, minutes, specifications, etc.) that is comprehensive and timely with a high attention to detail Some travel required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Arts Management or related field 7+ years in project management and design experience Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and InDesign. Company Information: Growing specialty manufacturer of custom interior products is seeking an experienced Commercial Interior Designer to serve as a Senior Art Consultant / Designer. Position Description: Do you strike that rare balance between creative design thinking and key account management? Our multi-talented Design Team members have demonstrated experience in account management and varied creative backgrounds, including art consultation, graphic design, and interior design. We’re rethinking how art can work with wayfinding and signage to enhance healthcare and senior living built-environments. We are excited to learn how you can contribute! A Designer with commercial design and product application experience is preferred, as you will work closely with key clients to ensure that the artwork, signage and wayfinding solutions achieve their goals, and enhances the occupant experience (patient, resident, staff and visitor). When creating custom design packages, you focus on how the work will look in the built environment and are also able to help clients visualize the end result. It is essential that you can effectively communicate art and design concepts to clients, whether you’re giving them a formal presentation or chatting on a site walk This position also requires effective communication with Design Team members and other internal departments, including Sales, Operations, and Installation, as well as artists, galleries and other outside vendors and sub-contractors. Attention to detail and outstanding time management skills are a must. You can juggle multiple projects simultaneously, stay on top of correspondence, keep meticulous records, develop and oversee budgets, review estimates and close large projects. At the end of the day you will be responsible for creating an exemplary Client experience through meeting commitments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality. General Requirements: • Degree in commercial interior design • 5-7 years of work experience in commercial interior design or related product application, ideally serving the healthcare or senior living industry • Experience in account and project management, including developing budgets, timelines, estimates and proposals for clients • Strong communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative, team environment • Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and deadline focused • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to follow Design Team processes • Self-starter with a high level of responsiveness, adaptability and flexibility • Must lead project meetings with enthusiasm and build client relationships • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Enjoys client interaction and can engage in a "sales" discussion • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients • Comfortable making presentations and demonstrating solutions to customers • Comfortable with budget discussions ability to learn product pricing. (i.e., Estimates, contracts, margins) • Proficiency in Auto-Cad, Microsoft Office Suite and Mac OS X Design Skills: • Experience with interpreting client’s needs and communicating design solutions with thorough understanding of design principles and the built environment • Ability to run a design project from beginning to end meet deadlines and timelines • Creative development of presentation materials including, but not limited to, presentation boards, binders, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint • Ability to interpret floor plans and elevations • Receptive to and able to interpret client and team feedback • Able to uncover customer needs and lead creative design development • Ability propose designs to scale with elevations using AutoCAD • Must submit portfolio of work demonstrating relatable design solutions for this role Ideal Qualifications: • 5+ years of work experience in commercial interior design or closely related product application field • Ability to communicate clearly across departments and with different clients • Experience in product application or account management • Outstanding problem-solving ability and high tolerance for ambiguity • Demonstrated experience closing projects within healthcare or senior living industry • Entrepreneurial mindset • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, In Design, PlanGrid, AutoCAD or Revit • Familiarity with Salesforce or other project management software • Evidence Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC)
